Singing For Super Heroes

Band, East of Eli’s Nathan West and actress/wife Chyler Leigh Partner with P&G, Giant Food and Singing for Superheroes to Fight Pediatric Cancer

Music group East of Eli (actress Chyler Leigh and husband Nathan West) join P&G, Giant Food and Singing for Superheroes to record music video at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center to spread the medicine of music.

Recently, East of Eli (Chyler Leigh and Nathan West) delivered the medicine of music to pediatric cancer patients at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. The band, alongside partners Giant Foods, P&G and Singing for Superheroes, filmed and produced a music video for original song “No Giving Up” that also features Giant Food Pediatric Cancer ambassador, Ashley Hackman. The music video is now available on Singing for Superheroes YouTube channel (link) and also features cameos from Chris Evans, Rob Thomas, Orianthi, Ian Grushka of New Found Glory and Howie Dorough from the Backstreet Boys. P&G (https://us.pg.com/) in partnership with Giant Food is proud to support pediatric cancer research at the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center.

“Having the opportunity to give hope through the power of music and spread joy through the halls of John Hopkins’ pediatric cancer center was an absolute honor for us. Partnering with Steven Battey and Singing For Superheroes was a deeply moving experience we’ll never forget. Music is medicine for the soul and it was so evident that each and every one of us involved got a heavy dose of exactly that. To say that big things often come in little packages is an understatement when you spend time with the real superheroes of the story, the children. They are absolute warriors and the smiles we shared together were a true testament to their huge hearts. We are forever grateful for such an unforgettable day full of laughter and love and look forward to working with Singing For Superheroes again.” -East Of Eli’s Nathan West & actress/wife Chyler Leigh
